Tanya Kapoor-Maini, DOAssistant Medical Director
Epileptologist
After completing her neurology training at Northwell Health, Dr. Kapoor-Maini completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Dartmouth where she developed skills in EMG as well as a passion for epilepsy. She served as an attending neurologist at Ochsner Medical Center – Westbank as well as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell where she was thoroughly involved with teaching epilepsy fellows EEG reading and up to date medication management. She is competent in and enjoys treating all aspects of neurology. Dr. Kapoor-Maini is very approachable, compassionate, and genuinely believes in treating each patient as a whole.
